Refund Policy

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to:
- Resell or commercially exploit the Platform or its content
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our content
- Download or copy our content for purposes other than permitted use
- Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods
7. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of any content, data, or documents you create or upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By using our services, you grant Document.com LLC a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to use and share such content. We do not review, verify, or endorse User Content and disclaim any liability arising from such content.
8. Electronic Signatures and Records
Our Platform includes electronic signature functionality. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Electronic signatures created through our Platform are legally binding to the extent permitted by applicable law, including the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)
- You consent to conducting transactions electronically
- You are responsible for ensuring that all parties to a document have consented to electronic signatures
- We do not guarantee that electronic signatures will be accepted in all jurisdictions or for all document types
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party, and you agree that Document.com LLC is not liable for any damages arising from such interactions.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCUMENT LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
- WARRANTIES THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
- WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT
- WARRANTIES THAT OUR DOCUMENTS WILL BE LEGALLY SUFFICIENT OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR NEEDS
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DOCUMENT LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account or data
- Damages arising from the conduct of third parties
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Document.com LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform
13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation for at least thirty (30) days.
Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Document.com LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Harris County, Texas, or at another mutually agreed location.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND DOCUMENT LLC AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
16. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Document.com LLC regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
- Notices: We may provide notices to you via email, posting on the Platform, or other reasonable means.
